- knowledge and history of selling decorative panel products would be an advantage but not essential
- we will offer further career development with potential opportunities to visit our suppliers
- you will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with prior experience working as a Timber Manager or similar
- as Timber Sales Manager at Lathams you run an efficient team, achieve a high level of customer service, be pro-active in selling of timber products to both existing and new customers and will aim to expand our presence in the market for value-added products
- you’ll be working in a modern and well-equipped environment which provides opportunities to develop and grow your career
- you will liaise with suppliers, conduct price negotiations with clients on behalf of a company to reach a profitable conclusion, report on progress through the company’s reporting structure, develop and implement strategies for achieving and exceeding set sales targets as well as using technology to aid efficiency and give customers a better experience
- you will need excellent IT skills, People management skills and enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to manage your own workload
