Responsibility

  • liaising with the Management team to support the interview process and conduct driver assessments and inductions
  • conduct inductions to a high standard, ensuring that all relevant safety documentation is completed
  • support Health & Safety initiatives and embed these initiatives within all employees to maintain Company standard
  • maintain records for training in accordance with company policy and awarding body standards
  • carry out driver appraisals where required
  • support the Transport Office in undertaking investigations and accident/near miss reporting
  • continually striving for improvement and represent the business positively
  • observe and understand all risk assessments applicable to your area of the business, and the safe systems of work, constantly observing drivers to ensure they are conducting themselves correctly; support compliance processes, procedure, ensuring a proactive approach to meet strict standards
