Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships with supporting schedules and reconciliations
- preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts with supporting schedules and reconciliations
- preparation of self-assessment personal tax returns
- preparation of corporation tax computations/CT600
- bookkeeping and client bookkeeping support
- completion of VAT returns
- offering support in Payroll and CIS returns where required
- communicating directly with HMRC to resolve issues
Requirements
- strong experience working within an accountancy practice in a similar role - minimum 3 years
- strong organisation and communication skills
- great interpersonal skills and team player
- knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, Free Agent etc
