Responsibility

• accurately tender jobs from construction drawings, site visits and meeting with the clients
• identify, manage and submit Early Warning Notices and manage the EWN process
• manage the contracts Supply Chain with regards to subcontractor costs

• contribute to optimisation of project profitability
• identify, develop and implement opportunities for efficiencies and service optimisation in all cash-flow related processes
• generate monthly applications and invoicing for our clients
• create cost reports and deftly control budgets
• produce Monthly Cost Value Reconciliation reports and in-depth cost reports
• forecast cost to complete of larger projects

Requirements

• A Civil/Commercial/Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent
• proven experience as a QS/Contract/Commercial Manager
• A demonstrable history of adding significant value

• extensive knowledge and experience of construction contracts, cost management and estimating
• advanced analytical skills
• strong commercial awareness
• A full UK driving licence
• civil engineering: 3 years
