- accurately tender jobs from construction drawings, site visits and meeting with the clients
- identify, manage and submit Early Warning Notices and manage the EWN process
- manage the contracts Supply Chain with regards to subcontractor costs
- contribute to optimisation of project profitability
- identify, develop and implement opportunities for efficiencies and service optimisation in all cash-flow related processes
- generate monthly applications and invoicing for our clients
- create cost reports and deftly control budgets
- produce Monthly Cost Value Reconciliation reports and in-depth cost reports
Requirements
- A Civil/Commercial/Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent
- proven experience as a QS/Contract/Commercial Manager
- A demonstrable history of adding significant value
- extensive knowledge and experience of construction contracts, cost management and estimating
- advanced analytical skills
- strong commercial awareness
- A full UK driving licence
- civil engineering: 3 years
