JA SWIMMING ACADEMY is looking for employees for positions:

  • swimming teacher

Responsibility

  • assess students' swimming abilities and progress, and adjust lesson plans accordingly to meet their needs
  • provide regular feedback to students and parents on their progress, and offer advice on how to improve their skills
  • ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times, and follow strict safety protocols
  • keep accurate records of student progress and attendance, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Swim England Teaching Scheme
  • plan and deliver swimming lessons to individuals and groups in a safe and nurturing environment, in accordance with the Swim England Teaching Scheme

Requirements

  • hold a valid Swim England Level 2 Teaching Aquatics certificate, or equivalent qualification
  • have previous experience teaching swimming lessons to individuals and groups
  • be passionate about swimming, and have a strong understanding of the Swim England Teaching Scheme
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with students and parents
  • be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
