Responsibility
- prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections
- apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- mix paints and other materials to achieve the desired colour and consistency
- ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the painting process
- follow safety guidelines and protocols while handling hazardous materials and operating equipment
- inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups as required
- collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
Requirements
- proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred
- strong attention to detail with an ability to produce high-quality finishes
- good knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks associated with painting duties
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for travel between job sites
- painting: 1 year
