Requirements
- early Years Level 3 qualification
- knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
- strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- proficiency in IT
- enthusiastic, passionate and full of ideas to encourage learning and development, both child and adult initiated
- experience in Early Years setting: Nursery, Pre-School, childcare, nannying
Responsibility
- prepare and supervise activities/provocations and support children at all times
- main Duties
- ensure that equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents, staff and visitors
- to work as part of a team and support other colleagues
- maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, colleagues and visitors
- to assist with implementation of planned and unplanned learning/ experiences for the children
- to help set up the Pre-school room with inviting activities based on the children’s current interests and themes of play
- undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by manager/committee
Contract type
- however this can be somewhat flexible for the right candidate
- start date: Ideally from Monday 20th February - earlier if possible
