Requirements
previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential
level 2 certificate of Food Hygiene
basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
chef: 1 year
preferred but not essential: experience in grilling and handling meat, Asian, southeast Asian or Indian cooking
Responsibility
follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth processing and fulfilment of the orders
food preparation, handling and marinating meats, cooking/ grilling the different menu items, ensuring sauces are available for immediate use, washing vegetables and making salads
ensure the kitchen remains organised and maintain a high standard of cleanliness which includes washing pans and utensils, sanitizing surfaces, and waste management
