Responsibility

  • we have a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their Finance career as an Assistant Management Accountant
  • we are heavily-focussed on employee learning and development with many of our Finance Team undergoing supported training and clear progression opportunities
  • this role offers fantastic progression, hybrid-working and CIMA/ACCA study support
  • supporting the production of monthly revenue information through timely closing of books and performing month-end actions
  • software revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15 and monitoring deferred and accrued revenue balances
  • completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for divisional entities
  • this position reports into a Senior Management Accountant and has a mix of responsibilities including the generation of revenue & cost of sales information for the IRIS Software Group and supporting a finance & systems transformation project
  • this position is well-suited to someone who likes to operate in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with change and is excellent at managing priorities and meeting deadlines

Requirements

  • experience working in a Finance/Accounting department
  • ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualified or part-qualified
  • strong attention to detail
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • team-player
  • excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure/meet deadlines
  • flexible and ‘can do’ attitude to work
