Responsibility
- developing our web based products, utilising coding languages and frameworks such as PHP, Angular, PostgreSQL, Python
- development of high-quality software designs from concept to production and providing ongoing support thereafter
- we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stockport, Greater Manchester
- work closely with Software and Hardware teams throughout the design process ensuring a coherent system level design is achieved
- ensuring software is written in accordance with the IPEC coding and documentation standards
- the primary role will be to strengthen our multi-discipled Development Team, working on existing and new product development
- undertaking comprehensive documented testing of software designs
- you will develop software applications that interface with, collect, store and display data from IPEC’s hardware based products
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- experience of modern programming and database languages and frameworks for web UIs such as Angular, PHP, SQL and Python
- graduate in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience in software development or related fields
