Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- processing payments and invoices
- undertaking of all aspects of FX management including treasury dealing
- maintaining FX Exposure reports, analysing exposures when they arise and take necessary action to fix them
- preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- completing VAT returns
- verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
- recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
- developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
Requirements
- prior treasury experience in a corporate environment
- finTech, Banking experience highly valued but not a necessity
- experience with accounting systems, preferably Xero
- experience in working with multiple currencies, with an understanding of FX gains and losses and currency translation
- solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- hands-on experience with spreadsheets
