Responsibility

  • monitor and optimise system performance, resolving technical issues promptly to minimise disruptions in property transactions and client services
  • collaborate with the teams to integrate and enhance software tools used for property listings, client communications, and contract management
  • conduct regular updates and ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and data protection laws governing property information
  • provide technical support to agents and staff, addressing hardware, software, and network-related concerns in a timely manner
  • document system configurations and procedures, focusing on real estate software, to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure smooth operations
  • implement and oversee data backups and recovery processes to safeguard critical property and client information
  • manage and maintain computer systems and networks specific to the real estate industry, ensuring seamless operations for property management software, CRM systems, and databases
  • identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks specific to the data, ensuring secure handling and protection of sensitive property-related data

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant field
  • 3 years of experience in an IT Technician role within the real estate or property management sector
  • strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues related to property management software and databases
  • familiarity with industry-specific regulations and data protection laws
  • excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to system maintenance and support
