Responsibility

  • financial Business Partnering to the Biomethane Managing Director and being a member of the UK Biomethane Executive Committee
  • presenting the monthly business and financial performance of Renewable Gas UK to the Renewable Gas Europe MD & CFO
  • advising and supporting General Management and Global Business Units on short-term forecasts, business development and delivery of operations
  • making proposals for the medium/long term strategy
  • supporting growth through investment appraisal and M&A
  • managing the relationship with the support functions providing the administrative, accounting, financial and procurement activities, setting up adequate processes and collecting/structuring key data on company operations required both for performance analysis and strategic decision making

Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • A recognized UK Accounting accreditation or equivalent
  • significant and successful experience in Finance roles
  • proven experience in a senior commercial finance or equivalent role
  • in depth knowledge of accounting principles and risk management practices including energy risk management
  • excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations
  • A strong strategic mindset as well as business acumen
