Responsibility
- own transport is an essential requirement of this role
- inter-County is a Domiciliary Care service providing a range of care and support services to the local community in Chichester and surrounding areas
- as a Field Care Supervisor you will be responsible for the ongoing field supervision of our care workers and ensure that our client requirements are met whilst maintaining compliance of high quality care standards
- to maintain effective administration systems in line with company requirements
- to be part of the 'On Call' team, providing our of hours support on a rota basis
- to monitor and review client care packages, ensuring the correct support is in place and that staff have the necessary skills and experience to be effective in their role
- to mentor, supervise and support care staff to provide high-quality care that is safe, effective and responsive to each client’s needs and preferences
- to work in the field as a 'hands on' carer, assisting with the setting up of new care packages and covering sickness/holidays and staffing gaps when required
Requirements
- excellent communication and organizational skills together with the ability to use own initiative are vital for this role
- you must possess a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- you must demonstrate commitment to working within a team and have a flexible approach to working hours and practices
- candidates will need to be reliable, have a caring nature and be able to demonstrate their commitment to providing quality care to the highest of standards
