Responsibility
- lead and manage the design process, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations
- provide expert advice on health and safety risks during the design phase
- collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project safety
- oversee a variety of small and large projects
- conduct design reviews and hazard assessments
- prepare and maintain pre-construction information and health and safety files
- develop Construction Phase Plans for clients including Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- conduct site inspections and provide ongoing health and safety support to contractors and sub-contractors
Requirements
- qualified to NEBOSH Diploma Level and working towards IOSH Chartered Membership
- experience in construction-related health and safety consultancy
- technical qualifications in construction, engineering, or architecture
- fire risk assessments
- previous experience acting as a Principal Designer Advisor or former CDM Coordinator is essential
- water quality risk assessments and responsible person role
- proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team
- training and development in health and safety practices
