Responsibility
- working with a team of engineers and sales reps
- excellent internal /external customer communication skills
- excellent project managing and budget control experience
- well organised and punctual
- produce Excel worksheets to calculate equipment costs for quotation purposes. Worksheet usually derived from Access bill of materials
- maintain good drawing & document history system in an organised way
- work with third party remote staff who maybe be oversees, for equipment which the company is an agent
- specification of non-manufactured parts to be used in the major assembly, e.g. Motors, Electrical parts, Mechanical parts etc and include all the above in the database
Requirements
- proficient with 2D or 3D AutoCAD
- relevant technical qualification
- experience within a similar job role of at least 5 years
- has production and toolroom background
- experience in packaging and processing automation
- hands-on ability
- experience in mechanical engineering and design skills tooling, jigs, fixtures and sheet metal fabrications
- familiarity with electrical panel building
