Responsibility
- supporting the Buyer with any key tasks/projects

- monitoring prices between supplier parts pricing and their invoice to ensure accurate invoices
- managing and updating spreadsheets
- maintaining the supplier database including contact information
- meeting set-ups and facilities administration
- marketing support and arranging company social events
- providing general administrative support where required
- other general administrative duties as required by the business
- any experience of working in supply chain and/or engineering/ manufacturing company is desirable but not essential
- carry out ad-hoc tasks as required by management
- dealing with invoices and payments
- other ad-hoc vehicle duties when required
- understanding how to prioritise projects - full training will be given
- reporting directly to the Head of Warehouse and Transportation you will work along side the existing team of Administrators and be responsible for all accurate fleet record keeping, ensuring it remains legally compliant at all times, whilst ensuring it remains legally compliant at all times whilst also ensuring vehicle paperwork and records are obtained, stored efficiently to meet all legal requirements and route planning for drivers nationwide
- completion of accident reports with drivers
- carrying out administration duties through the whole policy life cycle
- continually consider improvements for service and efficiency making suggestions through agreed channels
- ensuring all paperwork is filed promptly and that files are maintained in good order
- provide recommendations to management on where improvements to customer outcomes and experience can be made
- carry out the daily completion of driver paperwork – fleet check sheets, delivery manifests, delivery paperwork
- entry of new projects onto the database - currently, the office is managing around 750 live projects! - and managing any updates and amendments effectively
- ideally you should have some previous or current purchasing, stock or buying related administration experience and you must have strong IT skills including Excel and experience using office 365
- booking hire vehicles for engineers, when vehicles need: MOT, Service, if broken down or damaged etc
