  • maintain and implement patching and upgrade schedules across multiple environments
  • implement, monitor, and resolve backup and recovery activities
  • implement, monitor, and test failover technologies
  • provide after-hours support as necessary
  • participate in database change management and its process

Education

  • bachelor's

Requirements

  • experience with PL/SQL and data modeling
  • 5+ year experience in database administration
  • database administration: 5 years
  • 3+ years of direct DBA experience working with Oracle Enterprise
  • oracle database administration: 3 years
  • 3+ years of direct IT experience supporting database environments on a Linux platform
  • linux: 3 years
  • information technology: 1 year
