- support learners with special educational needs both academically and emotionally
- supporting learners in either Early Years, Key Stages 1 or 2
- support pupils with an Education Health Care Plan
- supporting pupils with SEMH and/or Autism
- support learners in key stage 1 in and around Ipswich, Suffolk
- provide support to learners aged 5-19 within an SEN School
- develop and implement individualised learning plans for the student in line with their EHCP
- be open to learning new skills everyday
Requirements
- excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- relevant certifications or training in areas such as special education, counselling, or child development are highly beneficial
- experience in working with and supporting young people in a special school is desirable
- must be enthusiastic to learn and develop your skills
- experience in working with and supporting young people in a primary school is desirable
- educated to degree level or have relevant life experience
- be committed to ensuring every pupil receives a platform for an education
- educated to degree level or have relevant live experience
