Responsibility
- manage day-to-day supply chain related activities within assigned region
- ensure supply and problem solve supply chain related challenges
- oversee supplier relationships within region for core & proprietary products
- interface with franchisees & local distribution partners regarding product importation, product availability, product changes, and other supply and logistical related communications
- work with warehouse & distribution partner to efficiently manage inventory & logistics
- provide supply chain related support to internal cross-functional stakeholders
- identify and realize supply chain strategies and cost-savings opportunities
- responsible to identify and implement supply opportunities and strategies to optimize cost of goods sold, including export/import versus local supply decisions
Requirements
- 4-year degree in related field preferred
- ideal candidate will also have experience in managing multi-country supply chains with strong grasp of sourcing and importing/exporting procedures
- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
- strong written, verbal and face-to-face communication skills
- restaurant / Food Service/ Protein industry experience required
- financial analysis skills
- 5+ years in supply chain and procurement in food industry
- experience in procurement and negotiation strategies
