Responsibility
- proactively lead induction and training for new warehouse team members
- responsible for managing the day-to-day workload and performance of warehouse team members
- taking lead in warehouse team meetings/actively contributing to operations team meetings
- execute regular performance reviews with Warehouse Team members
- monitor key metrics such as unallocated inventory, negative issues, cycle count accuracy, safety stock levels, FIFO, QR and build revision control
- work with Manufacturing to determine delivery requirements for parts needed in assembly and assure parts are issued to meet the schedule
- create positive connections with other teams to collaborate on essential projects
- ensure full optimisation of the Warehouse Management System
Requirements
- evidence of strong team management skills
- minimum 2 years’ experience of working in a warehouse
- FLT licence
- minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing people
- good working knowledge of inventory and control processes
- proven ability to proactively communicate with individuals and groups internal and external to the organisation
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- solutions orientated, able to take ownership of problems
