Responsibility
- CQC registered or willing to undertake CQC registration to act as the Register Manager
- adhere to CQC standards and reporting procedures
- make recommendations for, and update DoLs applications within designated timeframes where necessary
- using sound financial and accounting principles, manage contract budgets to deliver on corporate and local contract financial targets
- work to continuously improve staff competence, ensure ownership of all staff issues and speedy and effective conflict resolution
- responsible for reporting all staff changes to HR and Payroll departments, as appropriate e.g. starters, leavers, additional hours etc
- responsible for maintaining quarterly staff succession plans
- responsible for managing and allocating clients to support staff
Requirements
- hold, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 4 or QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care
- in depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Good and Outstanding scores
- minimum 3 years management experience of service provision in the care industry
- experience in managing people
- you can demonstrate a positive vision for a supported living service and how you will influence positive change
