- our team of clinicians provide weekday evening and weekend appointments to local patients referred by their own GP surgery
- jobresponsibilities Provide treatment room services and others, dependant on Tier level
- to include cytology
- undertake opportunistic screening including BP, height, weight, BMI, urinalysis, smoking status and alcohol intake
- in this role the Nurse will be responsible for the provision of safe and effective primary care appointments, with full access to patient medical records
- offer education and motivation for patients to change unhealthy behaviour through recognising a patients readiness to change
- the post holder will take a pro-active approach to their own CPD, contribute to continually improving the clinical effectiveness of the clinics and work collaboratively and supportively with all colleagues
- supervise 1-2 Healthcare Assistants when on shift, with protected time at beginning and end of shift to do so
