Responsibility
- we have a requirement for an Estimator to assist with Estimating
- you will be responsible for the timely production of detailed pricing
- helping out the admin team as and when needed
- principal Duties and Accountabilities
- tender Submissions to include preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders, prepare subcontract tender enquiries & evaluation subcontract responses
- this will require the compilation of accurate estimates from mainly first principle methods for multi discipline works, including labour, plant, equipment, materials and sub-contract requirements during tendering and bidding
- liaise with the Project and Delivery Managers to determine outputs, programme, resource, approach to pricing of schemes including site surveys if or where required
- tender handover for successful tender to delivery team & QS as part of Project Pre-Start meeting, provide detailed build up to rates and pricing
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- degree in estimating or equivalent or Minimum 3-4 years-experience in similar utilities position
- administrative experience: 3 years
- working with industrial doors: 4 years
