Responsibility
- independence Support Ltd operate an extra care service in Tranmere
- independence Support is looking to grow its team of outreach support workers in Tranmere and the surrounding areas
- the role with involve supporting people with disabilities and complex needs to access the community and live as independently as possible
- the facility is brand new and will offer bespoke accommodation in the form of self contained units with communal areas
- we are looking for staff to cover a variety of hours and shift patterns including days and nights
- there are various hours and shift patterns available
- being a car driver would be beneficial
- we are looking for both contracted staff and bank staff
Requirements
- experience of working in a support role, both in the community and the home
- friendly, approachable and confident in the role
- experience and ability to understand and deal with complex and challenging behaviour
- flexible in approach to meet the needs of the client
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent recognised health profession qualification
- full driving licence with access to own car
- social Care: 1 year
- support Worker: 2 years
