- salary - £27,493 + 10% overnight enhancement

- A UK driving license is an essential requirement to the role
- the service provides support for children and young people aged 5 – 25 years and their families in Dunfermline and South West Fife
- we have a brand-new service starting and we are looking for keen, enthusiastic people who have an interest in helping children, young people and their families

- the role focuses on building trusting relationships with young people to provide both emotional and practical support to promote positive mental health and wellbeing, to reduce distress and to be connected positively to the local community

- the post holder will be responsible for supporting young people who require additional level support through a range of interventions including delivering inputs on decider skills, season’s for growth, Solihull for parents, self-esteem and body image as key focus’

- the service will be delivered through 1:1 support, groups and outreach and be embedded within local communities
- the postholder will manage their own caseload ensuring support plans are developed with the young person to respond to their individual needs and supporting them to improve outcomes in line with GIRFEC principles and includem’s model of support
- you will be expected to actively demonstrate leadership and ownership over effective service delivery to young people, by managing their outcomes through use of line managers, colleagues and organisational tools, processes, policies and procedures
- to reflect on practice, share learning and promote continuous practice improvement within a team setting
- the project aims to support young people with protected characteristics to prevent a need for intensive support and promote positive community engagement at a universal level
- attend multi-agency meetings if required

Requirements
- you will be educated to Level 7 | Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework or have relevant skills and experience in working with young people or young adults with mental health needs
