test technician
Responsibility
- salary Guide £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
- the successful individual will need to flex their priorities to support others where necessary and be comfortable with a fast-paced environment
- it will require someone who takes pride in their work
- testing of electronic assemblies to a prescribed process using common lab test equipment
- identifying and documenting failures/issues and diagnosing to component level
- using basic hardware and software tools to simplify/automate testing, e.g. USB-I2C or USB-UART adapters and command line scripts
- produce electronics documentation, e.g. test procedures and test reports
- you will report into a senior member of the Engineering Team and your work will be prioritized in discussion with them
Requirements
- basic electronics knowledge/qualification
- technical delivery of testing electrical/electronic systems
- contribution to a complex electronics development
- following processes
- use of DVM, Oscilloscope, Bench PSU
- computer literacy
