Requirements

  • preferably have a recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, plus the satisfactory completion of a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • in absence of qualifications need to be able to demonstrate relevant trade working experience in a variety of machine tools
  • experience in a machine tool manufacturing environment, along with operational knowledge of CNC Equipment
  • experience in the assembly and maintenance of various Machine Tools
  • experience of electrical fitting/wiring would be a desirable
  • ability to read understand and interpret engineering drawings essential
  • good analytical and problem solving skills
  • strong communication and team working skills
