technical sales engineer
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- review and process customer sales enquiries for Valve Actuation products
- prepare priced quotations ensuring contractual, technical & commercial accuracy
- liaison with suppliers / purchasing department as necessary to enable accurate quotations
- develop good working relationships with customers to ensure their requirements and expectations are met and delivered efficiently
- liaison with the engineering, production and purchasing teams to ensure the commercial and technical status of specific projects and quotations
- advising Senior Management of issues that may require resolution at a higher level
- update and maintain the ERP system with orders and customer details
- update the production status on a weekly basis
Requirements
- minimum 3 to 5 years experience in an engineering or technical capacity
- technical / Engineering qualification, preferably to degree level
- sales experience preferable
- commercially astute and comfortable negotiating at all levels
- computer literate with MS Office, SharePoint and Teams
- good verbal and written skills, as well as a confidence to communicate in person
- prepared to travel to our factory in Deeside, Flintshire on a quarterly basis
- some knowledge or experience of working within valve actuation
