Working hours
- part-time
Responsibility
- measuring out meal ingredients according to a recipe
- prepping various ingredients such as meats and vegetables
- collaborating with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals
- serving food and drinks to their customers and employers
- maintaining a pantry stock record
- rotating stock items as per established procedures
- restocking the pantry and fridge or freezer as necessary
- properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures
Requirements
- valid Right to Work in UK
- at least 2 years experience cooking in a care setting
- excellent communication skills
- ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands, and prioritise tasks
- level 2 food hygiene certificate
- team player
- ability to work on your own initiative
- satisfactory DBS
