electrical estimator
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- manage and produce compliance and competitive estimates for clients across the UK
- maintain full responsibility for all aspects of the tender, understanding client needs and assessing preliminaries
- oversee the estimating programme, subcontractor enquiries, RFI schedules, price evaluation, material quotations, and take offs throughout the process
- providing administrative support, technical appraisals, and financial assessments from initial enquiries through to tender submissions
- manage tenders in line with the estimating programme, delivering according to return dates
- evaluating specifications and drawings
- issuing RFIs to clients as needed
- issuing subcontractor packages and reviewing returns with price and compliance
Requirements
- knowledge of coordinating design and reviewing the specifications and tender to ensure compliance and opportunities for cost reductions
- experience working within the building, construction, and multi-residential sectors
- strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues
- own driving licence and transport is required, due to site travel
- understanding of standard forms of contracts used within the construction industry
- electrical C&G trained Engineer
- CSCSC card
- IET Accreditation
