Responsibility
- providing support to the Procurement Director on various aspects associated with the development of new and existing products
- identifying areas for growth, including new ranges and product group extensions
- ensuring that prices are competitive and quality is not compromised
- imexpart Ltd, one of the largest and most respected independent Automotive Parts Specialists in the UK are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their expanding team in Castleford, West Yorkshire
- improving cost prices; including the tender process and supplier negotiations, etc
- the ideal candidate will be responsible for the ongoing management of Product Groups and key suppliers, providing analysis and insight into an ever changing and evolving automotive aftermarket
- responsibility for complete product range lifecycle from New to Range through to end-of-life removal
- as a Senior Product Manager your duties will include
Requirements
- experience of working within the Automotive Aftermarket
- experience of working with Manufacturer EPCs
- high level of commercial awareness
- knowledge of vehicle components, inc ENGINE
- buying competency
- excellent IT, literacy and numeracy skills
- excellent communication skills
