Responsibility
- assist and support the driver to perform and complete the jobs safely and in a timely manner
- interact with customers in a professional manner
- complete daily maintenance checks on delivery van and notify manager of any issues
- loading and unloading the vehicle, taking account of the delivery order and making sure that items are easily accessible
- checking that all of the items are accounted for against delivery sheets
- examining the vehicle before setting off, checking the load is safe
- telephoning customers or engineers to confirm the delivery times
- navigating and advising the driver about diversions
Requirements
- motivated and reliable
- must be able to handle heavy items with the aid of appropriate equipment
- attention to details
- delivery driver experience: 2 years
- driving: 2 years
