maintenance manager
Working hours
- full-time | Temporary
Responsibility
- managing the preparation of accommodation and facilities for the summer and winter programmes to agreed operating standards
- carry out initial inspections of reported faults and making appropriate repairs, ensuring that records are kept of all repairs
- complying with all Company and legal and health & safety policies and procedures
- manage maintenance team to ensure all projects are carried out effectively and efficiently and in accordance with building regulations
- preparing and planning a maintenance programme to maintain all public and staff areas, accommodation, bars and entertainment venues in line with current legislation and agreed operating standards
- provide support to other departments where applicable
- assist in the management of these facility areas and set in motion processes to enable the areas to achieve the high standards of service and customer care at all times across the different aspects of the business
- build a relationship with and liaise with all departments of the Park, including our housekeeping and maintenance teams, bar & restaurant
Requirements
- experience of electrics & plumbing
- experience of general maintenance e.g. painting, electrics, joinery and carpentry
- working understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- excellent attention to detail
- highly motivated
- experience in working successfully as part of a wider team and in leading a team to achieve results
- strong communication and influencing skills
- achievement focused
