team leader
Responsibility
- lead fire engineering projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards
- developing Fire strategy reports across the project life cycle
- provide fire engineering support to a wide variety of construction projects
- conduct fire safety assessments and risk analyses
- provide technical guidance
- mentor junior engineers and collaborate with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- A BSc and or an MSc in Fire Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical/Building Physics/relevant discipline to the role
- experience with British Standards
- problem Solving
- prepare technical reports for submission to the Building Control and Fire Service authorities
- working on Fire Strategies from first principles
- review technical information to determine compliance with Building Regulations guidance and fire strategy requirements
- working towards Chartered Status or working towards a relevant professional registration/qualification
- prepare technical mark-up drawings of potential solutions to inform the design team
