Responsibility
- be the lead collaborator for all product categories across all business functions and oversee the entire product development process
- delivery of insight led market leading, profitable consumer products for our celebration ranges
- lead the long-term sustainability product strategy to identify how to adapt our product categories to drive positive change and business growth
- working with the Head of Product to create project timelines and implementation schedules/roadmaps for all new ranges
- critical Path Management – ownership of all projects from start to fruition
- creation of bi-annual trend reports in conjunction with the Creative Studio to include consumer insights and market analysis
- regular consumer insight collation to ensure DGUK has a product offering that is aligned with the consumers’ needs and buying decisions
- execution of the development and implementation of all celebration’s strategies and values, ensuring a consistent approach is maintained across all product categories, followed by post-launch reviews
Requirements
- hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject would be preferred
- 2-3 years marketing/product management experience within a similar sector
- excellent analytical and IT skills are essential
- flair for creativity and innovation
- strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly
- project management skills and the capability to efficiently operate within a multi-function team
- demonstrate ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
