Responsibility
- we currently have an opening for a Buyer to join our Procurement team based in Warrington, Cheshire
- this is a site based role, located in Dalston, Cumbria
- we’re looking for a confident Stores Buyer who is adept at working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining a professional approach, ensuring effective communication at all times with vendors and suppliers
- we are currently looking for a Stores Person with Buying experience to be based on site at one our client in Darley Dale, Matlock
- we are currently looking for a Stores Person with Buying experience to be based on site at one our client in Sheffield
- A background gained in busy engineering and manufacturing or corporate environments would be beneficial, but is not as essential as the attitude to deliver, develop and succeed
- you will be responsible for the sourcing of non-stock items and/or ad hoc stock items as required from new and existing Suppliers in line with agreed Service Level Agreements and internal procedure
- this is a hybrid role, and the successful candidate will be required to work at the head office located in Warrington, once a week
Requirements
- strong sense of customer service
- previous buying experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment desirable
- excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long term relationships with clients and suppliers
- good organisational skills
- sound knowledge of SAP applications advantageous
- self-motivated together with a positive attitude to deliver excellent Client experience and satisfaction
- experienced in negotiating & challenging the norm
- effective decision making and problem-solving skills through sound intuition and reasoning
