Identity Care Housing is a 16+ Semi Independent Supported Living service who provide a range of accommodation services for young people who are leaving care aged 16 to 25 with basic, enhanced and complex needs. We offer specialist support, care, advice and guidance tailored to each young person’s needs to support them in their transition into adulthood and independent living.We are seeking an experienced Service Manger to fulfill a full time role with our friendly and expanding team.Job descriptionReporting to the Managing Director, the candidate will lead the day to day running of the business including but not limited to;Manage the service through clear aims and objectives to meet the assessed priority needs of young people within the parameters of legislation, good practice and policy.To manage the activity and performance of the services and staff and be responsible for dealing with their day to day issues, e.g. complaints and maintenance requirements.To liaise with social services and other professionals in terms of specific and general service delivery, support, accommodation etc, and to respond to any complaints/issues they have in a timely manner.Participate in service developments including planning, control, monitoring, review and evaluation activities to ensure continuous improvements in service delivery.To be responsible for people management, relating to sickness, absence, capabilities and discipline.To ensure that all young people, and staff are treated in accordance with the Equal Opportunities policy, and fairly with consideration of their cultural, religious and physical needs.To provide on-call assistance as required to staff, social services and management.Will be required to have an oversight of the staff rota.To ensure all reports and reporting data including monthly and quarterly returns, performance reports, and self-assess
