- vast experience as a Registered Manager with Young People
- proven outcomes with Ofsted
- level 4 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care
- level 5 in Leadership & Management
- an excellent knowledge of OFSTED and interview process
- be confident in providing leadership to the team
- driving Licence
- managing: 2 years
Responsibility
- participate in service developments including planning, control, monitoring, review and evaluation activities to ensure continuous improvements in service delivery
- to be responsible for people management, relating to sickness, absence, capabilities and discipline
- reporting to the Managing Director, the candidate will lead the day to day running of the business including but not limited to
- to provide on-call assistance as required to staff, social services and management
- manage the service through clear aims and objectives to meet the assessed priority needs of young people within the parameters of legislation, good practice and policy
- to manage the activity and performance of the services and staff and be responsible for dealing with their day to day issues, e.g. complaints and maintenance requirements
- will be required to have an oversight of the staff rota
- to liaise with social services and other professionals in terms of specific and general service delivery, support, accommodation etc, and to respond to any complaints/issues they have in a timely manner
