Responsibility
this position of Senior Residential Care Worker supports the manager to lead and manage the children’s home, consistent with the approach and ethos of the organisation
senior Residential Care Workers are our role models for the other members of the team; responsible for delivering high-quality care as set out in the home’s statement of purpose and in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations and Care Standards
responsible for shift planning, decision making and helping support workers to manage behaviour and promote health, education, activities, contact and relationships for young people
as a new home, the role of the senior residential care worker will support the manager in identifying, and introducing new young people to the home and creating an environment of love and support to enable them to grow and reach their full potential
