Responsibility
- managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, general cost control & credit control for the organisation
- tracking and reconciling sales & costs in organisation’s accounting system , identifying and correcting errors, miscalculations, and financial discrepancies
- company : Hybrid Resource Management Limited provides various personnel to the UK/European onshore and offshore wind energy sector
- hours : Full-time , flexible, some occasional overtime working may be required
- you will have sole responsibility for this area of the business so this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of the growth of this business and report directly into the Directors
- supporting in other business areas as required
- location : We are happy to offer flexibility around how this role is performed. It can either be done as a hybrid role or you can be be based at our Newquay Head Office
- job description : The successful person will have excellent financial administration skills and be able to carry out all the responsibilities associated with the role of a Finance Officer in an SME
Requirements
- AAT Level 4 qualified or HNC/HND in Accounting and Finance
- experience specifically in using Xero accounting software & Sage Payroll Services
- minimum 2 years’ financial administration experience in a commercial environment
- experience in using Microsoft SharePoint and databases
- experience of working within the renewables, marine or another technical industry
- experience of working in a contracting environment
- A solid understanding of bookkeeping procedures including crediting and debiting appropriate accounts, posting entries to ledger accounts, and reconciling accounts
- high level of accuracy, diligence and good attention to detail
