Responsibility
- install roofing/ cladding systems, including shingles, tiles, and flat roofing materials
- repair leaks and other issues with existing roofs
- assemble and fabricate roofing components as needed
- conduct inspections to assess the condition of roofs and determine necessary repairs
- use hand tools and power tools effectively for various roofing tasks
- ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
- maintain a clean and organised work area
- collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications
Requirements
- proven experience in roofing/cladding is essential
- strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs
- familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation
- experience in assembling or fabricating components is an advantage
- A valid driver's licence will be required for travel to job sites
- excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols
