Responsibility
manage the hire team and any associated personnel to ensure all customer and internal administrative requirements are fulfilled
train, develop and coach the team and promote a continuous improvement culture
support the sales team, address any customer enquiries including the supply of technical information
deliver high levels of customer service whilst maintaining the effective running of the hire team and their daily activities, ensuring customers’ expectations are surpassed
manage customer hire invoice queries, effectively dealing with hire disputes and necessary negotiations, promptly
support with the month end process and associated deadlines
maintain the Business ERP System, ensuring contracts are detailed and accurate, raised in a timely manner by the team, correctly charged and fleet assets are allocated to fulfil the customer specifications
ensure the hire team are well disciplined and organised, providing exceptional levels of customer service, maximising income, optimising productivity and plant utilisation
Requirements
experience in office management and managing teams of four or more
excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail
customer focussed and experience in a customer centric environment
effective people management skills
excellent administrative and coordination skills
experience working in operational environment is preferable but not essential
financial acumen with a good understanding of sales, profit margins and business costs
the ability to maintain quality of work under pressure to meet deadlines
