- you will oversee the Apprentice Construction Buyer and ensure their continued development through effective delegation and management
- develop, implement and manage Procurement Policies
- you will be involved from the project inception, either in the tendering process or cost modelling
- plan and coordinate a project from start to finish, including organising the schedule of work, costings and budget
- plan the work and oversee the buying of necessary materials and equipment
- guide the build team to assist them with cost engineering their material requirements
- you must be self motivated with strong organisational and planning skills
- work within the company management team to ensure the site runs efficiently

- previous experience as an Estimator or Buyer in the construction industry
- knowledge of project controls
- ability to Understand and Interpret Construction Drawings and Produce Procurement Schedules
