Responsibility
- to undertake void inspection reports in line with company standard and report to Property Services Manager
- to undertake some of the identified works required on void properties as directed
- to carry out Health & Safety checks including, site inspections, water tests, fire alarms and any other related tasks
- to work closely with the Housing Officers
- to undertake repairs within properties to their ability where able or to report back for further contractors to be assigned
- changing light bulbs
- replacing toilet seats
Requirements
- general experience in building maintenance with experience of general building, plumbing and or carpentry
- knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in respect of repairs and maintenance work and site services
- NVQ Level 2 or qualified by experience and willingness to work towards this or other relevant qualifications in repairs and maintenance
- ability to drive and have own vehicle advantageous
