Responsibility
- installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault finding of Fire and Security Systems
- work with conventional & addressable fire systems, including Advanced, Kentec, Ctec, Morley, Gent, Notifier, Vesda, etc
- handle intruder alarms, particularly Galaxy, Texecom, Eaton, etc
- manage IP CCTV systems with expertise in Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Avigilon, etc
- install and maintain access control systems, including Paxton, ACT Vanderbilt, Grosvenor, etc
- conduct emergency lighting tasks and ensure compliance with British Standards for fire systems, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV
- provide IT support for security and communication devices and maintain accurate records in MS Office suite
Requirements
- proven experience with NSI & BAFE registered companies
- qualifications/Experience in BS5839, BS50131, PD6662, BS60839, NCP109, BS8418, BS6276, NCP104, BS5266, and FIA Units
- in-depth knowledge of fire and security system software
- ECS or CSCS card
- strong fault diagnosis, repair skills, and the ability to work independently
- PASMA and IPAF certifications
- A full, clean driving license
- proven IP experience
