HR by Tara provides HR support services to small businesses across the Chilterns and South Bucks and we are looking to bring some payroll expertise into our team
in this role, you'll track starters, leavers and changes, run time and attendance reports for our clients, calculate average weekly earnings and holiday pay and look after many other aspects of paying people
you'll then either liaise with the client's accountant or run the payroll yourself, ensuring that all staff are paid correctly each month
you'll need to understand all the basics of what makes up gross pay, the gross to net calculation, SSP, SMP, pensions, etc
we'll also provide you with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in HR administration - issuing contracts of employment, processing changes of contractual terms, advising managers on maternity entitlements and much more
