HR & BUSINESS SOLUTIONS is looking for employees for positions:
- full-time | Temporary | Contract
- assist in the production of monthly management accounts for 2 entities including commentary
- supporting the transactional team and overseeing work
- balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- weekly cash flow monitoring and forecasting in various currencies
- support the Financial controller with the annual audit
- quarterly VAT returns
- posting of journals, accruals and prepayments
- assist with compliance reports
- the ideal candidate will be studying towards a professional finance qualification, ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
- confident with management accounts preparation and a strong desire to learn
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- sales and purchase ledger experience
- hands on approach
- analytically minded being accurate and highly numerate, with good attention to detail
- account management: 1 year
- good understanding of core accounting software and an interest in technology
- conduct routine maintenance inspections
- perform various repairs, including plumbing, painting, electrical etc
- respond to guest repair requests in a timely and efficient manor
- carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
- ensure compliance with safety regulations, including PAT testing, and log as appropriate
- maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and parts
- assist with porterage and deliveries on busy days
- work closely with hotel management to schedule maintenance jobs
- proven track record in similar role
- proficiency in various trade skills
- ability to preform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in tight spaces, and working at height
- the ability to diagnose and fix a variety of issues
- A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of work
- self-motivated and proactive with a flexible, can-do attitude
- A working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- driving licence is an advantage
