Responsibility
process all incoming orders efficiently ensuring sales order accuracy by detailing necessary information, for example, quantities, delivery dates, prices and discounts
respond to customer queries promptly and professionally
perform regular liaison visits to demonstrate products and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers
ensure cost effective principles are applied whenever buying or selling products, with a view to maximising sales/profits
work closely with other departments to ensure excellent service and outcomes for the customers
implement and maintain OGL processes in accordance with training, ‘OGL Rules’ and any other literature regarding the maximisation of the software
maintain an accurate database of customer information on CRM
Requirements
proven experience in account management and business development with a passion for both industrial and electrical industries
background in a fast-paced industrial and electrical environment
sound commercial awareness within your specialist market and working understanding of quotes, sales, and purchase order processing
drive to pursue and generate new opportunities within our existing and prospective clients
ability to accurately assess and anticipate customer requirements with strong communication and interpersonal skills
deliver a pipeline of new business opportunities
proficient in using IT software such as CRM, Microsoft 365
