HOUSING PLUS is looking for employees for positions:
night support worker
Responsibility
- these young people are preparing to live independently and we offer practical and emotional support to them
- we are looking for great people to join the Housing Plus team
- we are currently recruiting night-time support workers who will work and sleep in our supported accommodation for young people aged 16-19 who are primarily refugees and asylum seekers in the care of the local authority
- there will be the opportunity to be allocated as a key worker to some young people
- we are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, highly motivated people who are passionate about working with young people and able to inspire, engage and motivate young people
- during the waking hours, you will support young people with practical tasks such as cooking, laundry, cleaning their rooms and help with college work when needed
- some experience of working with young people, night working and lone working will be a big advantage
- you will also spend their leisure time at home with them; this may be listening to music, playing console games and the like
