Responsibility

  • reading engineering drawings, working with a variety of materials such as Stainless, Carbon Steels, Aluminium, and other exotic specifications
  • MIG/MAG welding processes fillet and butt and all aspects of processing steel such as cutting, shearing, drilling, burning, and bending
  • working to tolerances and parameters ensuring that quality and production standards are met
  • follow and adhere to procedures for production, health & safety, and quality to maintain high standards and customer satisfactions

Requirements

  • be able to read and understand technical / engineering drawings and working within a quality driven production environment
  • be a team player with a can-do attitude that is committed to producing high standards of work
  • ideally be apprentice trained, City and Guilds or equivalent qualified in fabrication and welding or equivalent and have previous experience in MIG/MAG welding processes and fillet and butt
  • preferably have a full UK or equivalent drivers’ licence as you may be required to travel to customers sites at times although this is not essential
